The AGM of Puckane & District Tennis Club was held on the 31st of January and the adjourned agm was held on February 7th 2023.

The Senior Committee for the next year were elected and are as follows:

Club Captain: Brian McGahey & Samantha Horan

Committee Members: Mary Byrne, Evelyn Ducie, Will Girard, Brendan Quinn, Aileen Flannery.

The Junior Committee for the next year were elected and are as follows:

Committee members: Lilian Gleeson, Caitriona Gleeson, Sinead Hogan, Thomas Haugh

Set in the picturesque village of Puckane, our playing facilities consist of two LED floodlit all weather tennis courts beside our club house and onsite parking.

Our club was established in 1991 by a group of local people with a vision to having a sports facility for use by people of all ages. The courts were originally built in the late seventies as part of the Thatched Cottages development.

The courts were in need of repair by 1991 and with the cooperation of Tipperary Council the courts were leased by Tennis Club. As the club has developed there have been several improvements to facility over the years. Flood lighting was installed in 1999. Courts surface improved with addition on Omni surface in in 2004. The clubhouse was developed in 2007 with addition of shower and toilet facilities.
